Andy Harrison is a strategic planning and product development consultant who has completed numerous projects for industrial, consumer and business-to-business clients. In addition, he sits on the Board of Directors of a leading fraud-reduction solutions provider and is on the Advisory Boards of two other companies.

Mr. Harrison’s focus is on early stage companies, primarily in the technology sector. In addition to the fraud-reduction solutions provider, his client base includes a wireless connectivity products manufacturer, a provider of off-the-shelf e-commerce products, a leading direct e-marketing firm, an advertising agency, a luxury travel provider and a Vertically Integrated Digital Entertainment Organization.

Mr. Harrison utilizes an immersive, collaborative approach with his clients that result in innovative, focused solutions. Two critical benefits from this method are that the client 1) better understands his/her business; and 2) learns a fresh way to assess and build that business.

His expertise in strategic planning, product development and new business launches comes from 13 years with topflight organizations, including the Student Loan Marketing Association (aka Sallie Mae), American National Bank (Bank One’s middle market bank), Young & Rubicam, Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing and Drake Beam Morin.

Andy teaches entrepreneurship at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. In addition, Mr. Harrison is actively involved in the Kauffman Entrepreneurship Internship Program at Barnard College (Columbia University’s women’s college), where he 1) serves on the committee that evaluates and grades the students; and 2) has lectured on entrepreneurship and strategy development for early stage companies.

Mr. Harrison earned his B.A. from Tufts University in European History and his MBA from Harvard University. The father of one child, he lives in Pelham, New York. His passions include basketball, golf and etymology.
