Jean Cusick has over 8 years experience consulting with companies to assist their efforts in achieving strategic and operational goals.
In this capacity she has worked on a broad range of projects including identifying new products / services to be developed for competitive advantage, uncovering customer needs, establishing a "voice of the customer" feedback program, launching customer retention initiatives, and developing e-commerce programs to support existing marketing channels. She has completed consulting projects for clients such as Construction Market Data, IMS America, Optimum Logistics, Putnam Investments, Stolt-Neilsen Transportation and Thrall North American Rail Car.
Earlier, as a consulting manager in the Healthcare Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, she worked with leading academic medical centers to streamline operations and reduce costs. For these projects, Ms. Cusick led multi-disciplinary teams through a comprehensive redesign process, including identifying process improvement opportunities, gaining consensus on change, and evaluating the impact of newly designed work processes. Clients included: Hartford Hospital, Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, SUNY Health Science Center and Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Ms. Cusick earned her B.A. from the University of Michigan and her M.B.A in Management from New York University Stern School of Business. When not consulting, Ms. Cusick volunteers her time at Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic. She also designs and creates jewelry, and enjoys golf and exploring art museums.
